What To Expect From A Dating Photo Session?

What Happens First?

• Georgie will initially chat with you on the phone about the location, what to wear and how to prepare for your professional online dating photos. She can answer any questions you may have.

What Should You Wear?

• Georgie will guide you on what to wear. You definitely don’t have to buy anything special or wear something that doesn’t show who you really are (don’t wear a suit when you are really a jeans and t-shirt person). Just pick outfits from your existing wardrobe that you enjoy wearing.

Where Will The Photo Shoot Take Place?

• The main goal is to give you a set of dating photos that don’t look like a photo shoot. This is done by finding a variety of settings, backgrounds and lighting situations within the one location like a park, garden, beach or urban area.

How Does A Dating Photo Shoot Work?

• It’s good to have a 10-minute chat before the session starts just to get to know each other better. This usually calms your nerves.
• Remember it’s a collaboration where Georgie and yourself work together to create the shots.
• The best shooting time is early morning or late afternoon when the natural light is soft and very flattering.
• Georgie will take you on a walk for about an hour, in a great location with lots of settings where she takes relaxed shots of you along the way.
• There will be suitable places to change your outfits during the session.
• Quiet, uncrowded locations will be suggested so you don’t feel like you’re being watched – helping you stay relaxed and comfortable throughout your dating photo shoot.
• Plenty of photos are taken during your dating app shoot, giving you variety and options to choose from. If you don’t have many photos of yourself, you will be making up for lost time.

Will The Dating Photos Look Natural?

• One of Georgie’s main priorities – is to keep the photos as natural looking as possible.
• Georgie uses natural lighting and doesn’t use flash photography, as it looks too polished for dating photos.
• She avoids staged looks and you won’t be asked to pose awkwardly. Georgie will capture your natural mannerisms.
• The shots will be as candid as possible, where you don’t have to look at the camera and smile constantly.
• When your images are edited, the aim is to keep them as natural and authentic looking as possible

What Happens After The Photo Shoot?

• Approximately 48 hours after the photo shoot, Georgie will send you an online gallery of lightly edited images (approx. 50-150) from which you can choose your favourite shots.
• Your favourite dating photos will then be sent to you via a gallery link.
• Where you can use your new dating portraits on Hinge, Bumble, Tinder and the Apps straight away.
