How much does a Sydney headshot session cost?

Individual headshot sessions in Sydney start from $299 for a 30-minute shoot with one retouched image. The most popular package is the Professional Headshot at $399 — a 60-minute session with three retouched images across multiple looks and backgrounds. The Mini Branding package is $499 for a 75-minute session with five retouched headshots. All prices are in AUD and include full usage rights for LinkedIn, your website, social media, and marketing.

How long does a headshot session take?

Individual sessions run between 30 and 75 minutes depending on the package. The Express session is 30 minutes with one look, the Professional session is 60 minutes with three outfit changes, and the Mini Branding session is 75 minutes with unlimited looks. Team sessions run 15–20 minutes per person so disruption to your office is minimal.

Do you have a studio, or do you come to me?

Georgie comes to your location — there is no studio. She arrives at your office, home, or preferred location with a compact professional lighting setup and background, creating studio-quality results on-location. You can also choose a natural light shoot at an outdoor spot of your choice. Travel within Sydney is included.

What should I wear for a professional headshot?

Solid colours photograph best — navy, black, grey, white, and tones that compliment your eye colour all work well on camera. Avoid busy patterns, large logos, and very low necklines, as these draw attention away from your face. Make sure your clothes fit properly and feel comfortable — try them on the day before to check the fit. Georgie provides a pre-shoot consultation to go through clothing options, so you won’t be guessing on the day.

What if I feel nervous or hate having my photo taken?

Most clients feel nervous before a shoot — it is completely normal and Georgie’s approach is built around it. She guides you through every pose, shows you the shots as you go so you stay in control of your own image, and keeps the atmosphere relaxed and conversational. Clients who describe themselves as “not photogenic” or “camera shy” consistently walk away with images they love. 

How quickly will I receive my headshot photos?

Your proof gallery — showing all images from the session — is ready to view within 24-48 hours after the final payment. You choose your favourite images and your final retouched JPEGs are delivered within 48 hours, via a private gallery download link. If you need a headshot urgently, the Express package is specifically designed for a fast turnaround.

Can you photograph our whole team?

Yes — team headshots are a speciality. Georgie comes to your office and photographs each team member in 15–20 minutes, keeping disruption to your working day minimal. Team rates start from $275 per person for two people, dropping to $120 per person for teams of 10 or more. Every team member receives one retouched headshot and can choose their own favourite from a personal proof gallery. Consistent lighting and backgrounds give your team a cohesive, professional look across your website and LinkedIn profiles.

Can I use my headshots on LinkedIn, my website and for marketing?

Yes — all packages include full usage rights for social media, your company website, and marketing materials. This covers LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, email signatures, print brochures, PR, and conference use. Commercial use in paid advertising requires additional written consent and a licensing fee – contact Georgie to discuss if this applies to your needs.
